The Jaguars are talking to Reggie Hayward again, according to Michael C. Wright's (Florida Times-Union) twitter page.

Our View:The Jaguars rescinded an offer to the veteran defensive end two weeks ago, but there is belief a deal could be agreed upon soon. He can still pressure the quarterback, but has terrible luck with getting hurt.

Reggie Hayward visited the Rams Thursday, according to Howard Balzer's twitter page.

Our View:The Rams could use veteran depth at defensive end, with the possibility of moving on without Leonard Little and James Hall. Hayward has a poor track record with durability though.

Reggie Hayward expects to keep playing after suffering a season-ending fractured shin in 2009, according to the Jaguars' official website.

Our View:The 30-year-old vet may be done in Jacksonville though, namely as he has a poor track record with durability.
September 15, 2009
Reggie Hayward has been officially placed on injured reserve, according to the Jaguars' official website.

Our View:Hayward suffered a season-ending broken leg in Week 1 against Indianapolis. The 30-year-old defensive end brought down Peyton Manning earlier in the game, and will unfortunately have no more highlights for 2009.

Reggie Hayward will miss the remainder of the 2009 campaign with a broken leg suffered in Week 1 against the Colts, according to the Florida Times-Union.

Our View:Head coach Jack Del Rio does not believe the injury is career-threatening for the 30-year-old defensive end. He notched a sack in Sunday's game prior to going down.
