According to Aaron Wilson of National Football Post, the Broncos cut running back Justin Fargas Monday.

Our View:Fargas carried the ball just 10 times for only 17 yards during the preseason, so this is no surprise. Lance Ball looks like the guy who will keep the third-team spot, and even Bruce Hall was kept instead of Fargas.

Justin Fargas has impressed his new Broncos teammates thus far, the Denver Post notes. With Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter, and LenDale White on the sidelines, Fargas is battling Lance Ball for carries with the first-string offense.

Our View:This comes as no surprise, really. Fargas isn't a superstar, but he runs with heart and we see little reason why the 30-year-old can't at least be a decent backup on some squad. It wouldn't shock us if he pushes LenDale out the door.

Justin Fargas has signed with the Broncos, according to the National Football Post.

Our View:Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter and LenDale White are all hurt, so it makes sense that the Broncos brought in another back to camp. Still, Fargas does not figure to have any sort of role once the season begins.

Justin Fargas visited with the Saints on Tuesday night, according to WWLTV.com.

Our View:It certainly looks like the Saints are ready to move on without Mike Bell, who signed an offer sheet with the Eagles that New Orleans has a week to match. Fargas is a similar-type back to Bell and would back up both Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush if he indeed lands a deal with the Saints.

According to Pro Football Talk, "nobody wants (free agent running back) Justin Fargas.

Our View:According to the website, the Chiefs, Browns and Eagles have all spurned the former Raider this offseason. Sounds like he could be on the open market for quite some time.
