Jimmy Wilkerson has signed a one-year deal with the Saints, according to NFL.com's Jason La Canfora.

Our View:Wilkerson tore his ACL last year and may not be ready to play by Week 1. Once he's healthy, however, he'll provide nice versatility with the ability to play defensive end and tackle.

Jimmy Wilkerson is set to visit the Seahawks, according to Scout.com's Adam Caplan.

Our View:Expect any deal he gets to be a small one, as he is recovering from a late-season ACL tear. In 15 games for Tampa Bay in 2009, he notched 46 tackles and six sacks.

Jimmy Wilkerson is expected to visit the Rams Friday, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Our View:Wilkerson is recovering from January surgery to repair a torn ACL, and he probably won't leave St. Louis with a new contract. The Rams are mulling their options at defensive end in case Leonard Little and James Hall do not return.

According to the Tampa Tribune, free agent defensive end Jimmy Wilkerson had surgery on his ACL last month.

Our View:Wilkerson had a breakout season for the Bucs last year, posting 46 tackles, six sacks and two forced fumbles, and his injury may allow Tampa to hang onto him. The two parties have already engaged in contract talks, but Wilkerson may be forced to serve as a backup if he returns. The Bucs want to hand the starting job to last year's draft pick, Kyle Moore.
