The Rams placed Mark Setterstrom on the reserve/PUP list Friday, according to Howard Balzer of the St. Louis Globe-Democrat.

Our View:By going on the PUP instead of injured reserve, Setterstrom keeps his options open to return week 7 instead of missing the entire year. Still, he's recovering from a torn triceps and may not play anyway. Sam Bradford might want to reconsider signing anytime soon with the way O-linemen are under-performing and falling apart in St. Louis.

According to the Rams, guard Mark Setterstrom suffered an elbow injury in practice on Friday and "appeared to be in a lot of pain."

Our View:Setterstrom isn't projected to start in 2010, but is still expected to be an important depth player. With the Rams likely to go with rookie quarterback Sam Bradford next season, they can't afford any injuries on their offensive line. Stay tuned.

The Rams re-signed guard/center Mark Setterstrom to a one-year deal on Tuesday.

Our View:Setterstrom came back at a bargain basement price, as he wasn't given a qualifying offer, but he won't be counted on for a starting role due to the recent signing of center Hank Fraley. He'll likely just serve as depth at the position.

Our View:Setterstrom will miss the Rams' season finale this weekend against San Francisco. Roger Allen III and John Greco will be the starting guards in his absence.
